To those that know Yahari - he is a revered ally, a sincere friend and even though throughout the years there have been occasions when his reliability waned and his unpredictable tendencies grew increasingly unstable; Yahari's unshakable love binds him to those that he cares for with solid roots wound deep about the very core of his being.
More of than not, Yahari has distanced himself from those he loves in the past so they did not fall victim to his altered states, but now that he has found a sense of stability in otherwise unforgiving seas, this fey is more fierce an ally than ever before.
Those that do not know Yahari personally are subject to his treacherous whims of faeblooded nature. With no moral attachments to a person, there is little hesitation on Yahari's part to restrain himself from meddling. Meager acts of mischief often become excessively violent and lack any real sort of empathy for the one standing in his way. This apathy is completely random and a remnant of his everlasting bond his Mentor, Acareric Cyf.

Combat
So rarely does Yahari engage in combat that his enemies have often remarked him to be a coward. He has willingly given the upper hand to friends turned enemies in the past, due to his outright refusal to engage them. Such blatant cowardice has gotten Yahari killed more than once before, however.. Never again.
Where he is seen as a weakling by even his closest companions and beloved family; what lies beneath the still surface is a roaring maelstrom of untapped potential. Not even those who know Yahari best truly have any inkling of what the fey is capable of upon the battlefield.
Deception is Yahari's greatest tool.
Mind
A mind is only as strong as a man's will. To be Master of one's mind means to command a willpower infinite. At an early age a multitude of barriers were erected to shield Yahari's mind from outside attacks while he could develop his own psyche into a tactful tool. While he does not have the ability to move things with his mind, or read the thoughts of others; Yahari's skills of the mind exist on a different plane entirely.
The ability to conjure illusions, false realities and even inspirations of previously nonexistent emotions lie at his disposal. While he cannot control others, Yahari can move across the dream plane as an astral being and influence the dreams and subconscious realities of others.
Yahari's dreamwalking takes an incredible amount of focus and mental endurance, but the results are profound. It is one thing to be able to manipulate the mind of others for your means - it is an entirely different case when you manipulate an individual's subconscious thoughts. A fearless leader could be reduced to a sobbing child, or a coward could be inspired to be the greatest warrior who ever lived.
Perception is powerful.
Body
Ingrained in years of brutal muscle memory are the strengths of a valiant warrior so rarely seen. While neither mind nor body serve as his strongest aspects, they are sturdy foundations upon which his existence has been built. From an early age, he was trained to fight to survive and to gauge his opponent's threats to prolong his existence. One does not fear death if they are prepared for it, welcome it, on a daily basis. Yahari is no exception to this ideal.
While he is proficient in hand to hand combat, Yahari would prefer to wield a weapon in the field rather than be empty handed. Because of his training, he has a varied range of skills with different weapons, though prefers a weapon with a bit more 'bite' to it - usually choosing to wield a weapon enchanted with magical properties when the opportunity presents itself. His favored is the Mass Mace, the first weapon ever gifted to him by his Master. It's enchantment is a simple manipulation of kinetic energy and physical mass, giving it a violently effective 'crushing' blow.
Magic
Like most fey, Yahari's greatest abilities lie within the magical powers inherited from both sides of his lineage. Protégé of the magus Cyf, the secrets passed on from Master to Student remain, in large, unknown. There is a consistency to Yahari's connections with magic and while he understands many schools, spells and rituals; he is bound to limitations as all 'mortal' beings find themselves tied to. From his father, Yahari inherited the sense of earth and stone as well as the understanding to craft complex wards. From his mother, the powers of Aphyon provided him with an enormous pool of mana to cast from and later, a unique understanding of the connection between mind, body and spirit. From the blood of Cyf, Yahari inherited the will of Fire, the spirit of Shadow and the power of Planeswalking.
There are a few in the realms that have seen the immense power that Yahari can tap into when he builds architecture from conjuration and transformation magic - rising whole complexes of his schools at the time Edenveil Shadows Academy existed. Instilled in him is the will to carry on his legacy through instructing others of the many circles of magic and the varied schools of combat that he once had to struggle through in order to reach his prime.
Knowledge is power, after all.
